cdiver2:What is the US bating average no to high I think.
:11:
and again
:11:
where have you been for the past hundred years?

US, UK, and France against Germany: US helps kick butt
US v. Hitler, Hirohito, and Mussolini: US kicks butt
US v. North Korea and China: US kicks butt
US v. Soviet Union: US kicks butt and grinds their economy to the ground trying
to keep up. (hint, the "Soviet Union" doesn't exist anymore)
US v. Iraq I: US kicks butt
US v. Afghanistan: US kicks butt
US v. Irag II: US kicks butt
other than Viet-Nam, in fact, the US has won *every single conflict* in which it
has fought since 1918 (Somalia is debatable, but probably a loss too, though
i wouldn't qualify it as a war. more like a limited deployment; likewise Lebanon
in the early 80's)
do you realize the overwhelming power of the US military?
fact: no American solider has been under air attack since World War II (other
than by US planes in error)
fact: no other army in the world can use combined arms the way the US uses it
(i'm talking sergeants in the battlefield calling in immediate air strikes and artillery
supprt in a matter of minutes)
fact: the US spends more in military spending that the next *nine* countries
combined
and so on...

i'd say that's a pretty good batting average
