I've read many posts about drysuits, but is there a difference in the quaility of valves that one can purchase? Can they be purchased seperately from one manufacture and installed on others drysuit or does the manufacture have there own make of valve and thats that?

Yes there is a difference in quality, type and so on of valves.

For example there are normal profile vs low profile valves, autodumps, cuff dumps, manual dumps, swivel inflators and so on.

Some manufacturers are better (ie easier to use, leak less etc) then others but the type of valve eventually boils down to personal preference.

As for fitting in another suit, yep its easy, just cut the hole and fit the valve. You can have pretty any valve stuck onto pretty much any suit.
