You should have around a 30-35lb wing for cold water diving here. A 40lb wing will work just fine most likely. I use a 40lb wing, but carry a lot of weight on my back plate. Most people can get away with a 30lb wing.

A stainless plate is the right thing to get for cold water diving. If I remember Josh you are tall right? There are other plates that many of us like for single tank diving, and your height might dictate some preferences. "H" plates are nice and have a rolled edge for comfort. Resale value will also be there. The webbing is cheap enough to replace if it doesn't fit at around $15. The wing is the only thing that may not be exceptional, due to size. It will float you well in a wetsuit though. It will also float a BIG tank with extra weight onboard.

It sold already. He said he would hold it but he didn't. Oh we'll this was all helpful info so thank you guys.

Its worth what you and the seller can agree to.....:D

Used means 1/2 of normal price to me, but I might go higher on things depending on use, condition, odds of need for service, availability, etc. . I might go even lower if reasons dictate...

seeing that it has the "magical H", i would anticipate the seller asking a king's ransom..... I, personally, will not pay a premium for it....

You know where it is, we don't, what is the seller asking?
the "H" is only in the harness.
I'd probably pay 80% of new price, if its in excellent condition.
You can get the price for a package on the DSS website.

If you are tall, go with a DSS Long or X-Long pattern. It does make a difference... been there (I'm 6'-7"). It sucks we have to pay more.......

Well get a Freedom Plate from Eric S then. Works great with a Mach V wing.
