The OWNER of this vessel is a mexican guy who has made millions in telecommunications throuout central america. He and his people are only concernerned with legal perception and have already posted they did everything legal. Maybe if the Marine park approached the vessel and took pictures while they were anchored it would be different but for now it is he said she said and no one can really suggest in their best judgement in a legal court that they would find this vessel liable from the facts that are shown now. There is unfortunately no documentation to support that it was this vessel. A video of the ship anchored or at list stil images would make a world of difference

Ummm, the other ship in question, the Drum Beat has a US Flagged registry and is chartered out of an office in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

I would recommend contacting the press in the region where the owners live, especially if there's a strong environmentalist movement such as in northwestern USA. If the public relations backlash is strong enough, it may be possible ... The press can frequently be used when the law fails.

That thing about raising awareness if they're in the Pacific Northwest might not apply in Fort Lauderdale, but what the hell, why not try?

After doing some follow up regarding the Edminson Company who rents the boat, they forwarded me to their French representative who is in charge of chartering the vessel. I sent him a similar email as the one in the beginning of the thread and then a video indicating the damage caused by the vessel. Here is his response.

We then spoke on the phone several times where he said he would send me a full report on May 26th. Since then nothing, he is not responding to emails or taking calls. It makes me wonder how genuine his concern was for the damage to the reef

Please feel free to email him and ask for his comments regarding the matter as maybe only then will he give me the information i asked for
