What's the best diving on the east coast of fl between cocoa, and daytona beach?

Yes....there is shore diving here in the Vero area (between Sebastian and Fort Pierce). And it can be good, fun and easy. BUT it is extremely weather dependent. The last clear viz day we had was October! On a clam, flat seas day our (mostly rock) reefs are teeming with life. Good lobster hunting (before march 30), good spearing all 100-200 feet off the beach and in no more than 20 feet of water. Even a couple of wrecks in the area.
April/May might be a sweet spot for you weather-wise. Tag me if you get this way; we'll give you a tour. And check out our local dive group on Facebook (Vero Beach Scuba Club).
