And what out of those items do you think is unnecessary for a day charter that isn't doing diving, like O2 kit for example?

Would you still consider O2 a requirement if doing anything involving passengers getting into the water, even if not diving?
For example: Snorkeling? Swimming? Kayaking?

Turtleman, nothing like 02 to help out someone that has just had the heart attack or stroke. It really brings the pink back into someone that has just had a near drowning incident as well. If you let them in the water at all on your trips, it would be a good thing to have. You know that once they are partying it up the chances of falling overboard and gulping up the sea increase a great deal so why not be prepared.

I also have an AED on board as well as two 02 reg kits and couple hundred cuft in several bottles. BP cuff and stethescope, lots of first aid stuff for cuts and the like. It takes lots of gauze pads to fix a booboo caused by a sandtiger shark or a careless passenger that slips and falls.

Find a friend that is an EMT or the like and get a kit together or go the easy way and just buy one. But then you need to know how to use it all as well...
