Last time I purchased something on ebay, it was a pair of Jetfins that were advertised as "in excellent condition." They turned out to be dry rotted and had to be sent back. Refund took about 1 month. Bought new jetfins from LP for about $25 more than I paid for the bid!

Ebay can be really scary sometimes! I've had some negative experiences too. Thanks for the advice and the the replies! Happy diving!

Paperdesk,
Your user CP says, "Dive History: I've only been certified since 2002. I took the course and have done most of my diving around Palawan, Philippines. Amazing animal life and diversity! I live next to Lake Roosevelt in WA and am interested in learning more about fresh water diving. "
You're just 2 hours from Spokane. We have a group that dives every Tuesday PM, and you'll find many of us in the water on the weekends, too. I'm also big on Monday & Friday dives. We also do trips to Puget Sound. Some of us even dive dry suites all winter. So, anytime you're willing to make the drive, PM me for a dive!

Ahh! A fellow diver from my parts! Cool. I'd really like to start diving some local spots, but that does mean I have to get my own equipment . . .
I'm not actually very familiar with Spokane, so you could probably recommend a dive shop too :) Thanks!

Atlantis Aquatics will rent you everything except exposure protection for 40.00 (5.00 off) if you mention diving with me. Also, many of us have extra stuff until you get your own. PM me when you're ready.

For some reason I'm not getting notification when people post to my threads. I'll have to work on that. Thanks for the heads up. I'm working on getting my own setup now, so I hope to not have to rent.
