What are their super powers?
No additional super powers other than what we have already possessed. The title change is merely reflecting our current functionality. We have had access to the administration panel of Scuba Board for a while now and are lever pullers/switch flippers so to speak. For instance I created a Boat Diving forum recently. This is more of an administrative function rather than a moderator function.

But what about those nifty tights & the cool cape? :54:

Translation: Merely a name change, they were called "advisors" before. Nothing has actually changed. The change took place a month or so ago.

Translation: Yes, they can ban people. From earlier explanation from Pete, they don't have the authority, but they do have the ability.
