Gotta be close to The inlet cause i'm going camping with me youth group and don't have a way of getting anywhere but by foot! Thanks again for all ya'lls help

Watch for sharks in the inlet and fishing line.

I treasure hunt just south of the inlet. First if the tide is going out it pulls the ugly brown inlet water out into the Atlantic. Vis goes to zero. Secondly, it is only a few limestone reefs well worked by the treasure fleet and lots and lots of sea urchins,(the little sticky bas*&^d). Third, there are a lot of fishing boats, jet skis, and other beer drinking boaters zooming along there. North of the inlet is sand , sand, sand. There are many better places to dive.:upset:

D4J,

Dive/swim/snorkle during incoming tide or the slack before the incomming tide. I have heard some real horror stories about the current picking up and causing a bit of a struggle with swimmers.

Unless of course you want to be on the evening news that is.... but I can think of some safer ways to do that.
