What's a DEMP Instructor?? or What's DEMP?

It's a D.A.N. Divers Alert Network title that stands for "Diving Emergency Management Provider".

It's basically an umbrella course that emcompasses several different DAN course in one 8-hour class. It includes:

- Oxygen First Aid for Scuba Diving Injuries
- First Aid for Hazardous Marine Life Injuries
- AED (Automated External Defibrillator) for Scuba Diving

not to be confused with the Diving Urgent Medical Provider

which does almost the same things, only more often

Whats the difference of this to the EFR instructor course of PADI?
EFR is CPR amd First Aid--not specific to diving. The DEMP material is diving related. The only potential overlap is the use of AEDs,
