So we are all at many different levels. Me at the bottom of the pond with 10 logged dives, some with 4000+

So looking back, please describe in one sentence what YOU, would have done different in your dive career?

This is very interesting?

Scotty

Found a way not to drop out of the sport for nearly 11 years.

I would have started earlier....................

Doesn't your computer get soggy?

I should have earned the OW after that first snorkeling trip rather than waiting 3-4 years.

I had orders as a support diver to DSRV1 so I should have stayed in the Navy.

I would have...

... been more selective in my choice of instructors
... found ScubaBoard sooner
... joined the local dive club sooner
... gotten in a few pool dives, maybe monthly pool dives, between completing OW (Oct) and my first post-OW dives (the next April in Grand Cayman)
... been a bit more judicious in the non-essential gear that I purchased
... been a bit more patient and communicative with my 17 year old daughter while we were being certified together
... and of course, take up the sport much sooner in life
