How about a 10 ft., 1100 pound white shark popping aboard to have a taste of the chum or chummer dishing the slop over the side? Thrashing about it will take out your fuel lines, sparing the chummer luckily enough. It doesn't end there however.

Well, I certainly wouldn't pet it. After hearing about this, I think back to my trip to Guadalupe in 2005 with a scientific expedition. The team used a small skiff to dart tag the great whites there. I stayed on board the 85 ft boat we came down on (except when I was filming in the cage).
 
Fish fry and fin soup time.
 
I read about this in the paper this morning (yes, actual newsprint). As it turns out, the people involved are from my area.
On topic, get a bigger boat.

I think it is called the Warhammer maneuver. Those who have not read about it ... lets just say +1 more for changing shorts.
