What would be a good set up for someone new to this?

found my camera. It is a Kodak DC240. They had a housing, but when I looked at the description it looked like nothing mre than a plastic bag. NOt sure I want to take my camera donw in something like that. It also had a max depth of 30 ft. Not sure if that is the camera depth or the housing depth. It didn't specify. Oh well I guess I'll have to try and sell the one I have and go with something else.
