It was terrific!!
About 20' on the bottom and some places even better (ok...some places were worse). Best I've seen it since I've been here diving it.
Bottom temps were 65°, 30'@ 69°, surface was way too warm for me, had to get out & didn't bother checking.

I was there Saturday and I too noted it was the best vis I ever saw there. Could it be related to the mild Winter?

Nice!

I always seem to miss the good vis for some reason. Did Athens a few weeks back and had the whole lake to myself, but the visability was still only about 5 feet.

Must be all the zebra mussels.

:D

Hummmm.....I was thinking of avoiding CSSP this coming holiday weekend, but I might have to venture out for a dive or two. Lord knows I don't want to be on the lakes!

The place is usually empty on the actual holidays and light on the accompanying weekend

CSSP is open on Monday, May 28 (Memorial Day).

Zebra mussels cleaned the diver right out of his rig ;)

Even with the fantastic viz...we never found him :dontknow:

No, that would be the infamous "pirahna perch". They get testy this time of year when some divers break the rules and feed them. Then, other divers come along and DON'T feed them and...well, it's not pretty.

Ok so how many hot dogs does it take to make the perch happy?
