DUI 400g Thinsulate

DC TPS Thinsulate, TPS Vest, drygloves and 7mm hood.

Bikini..........LOL ok ok go on, couldn't resist

Softwear ... 300g Polartek fleece over 100g fleece longjohns.

... Bob (Grateful Diver)

At the 55 degree end of that range, i can get away with 200g DC thinsulate. At 48-50 degrees that gets cold. For the 45-50 degree temps we're going to get here soon, i'm going to get some custom-cut 400g DUI. 200g DC full suit w/ 200g vest to cover core would probably work down to 45, too, and might be less buoyant.

Technically, thinsulate is DIR and fleece isn't...

You too? Mine's pink :D

OK, now that we've got that picture in our heads, picture me in a thinsulate hunting suit that I picked up at Dick's. It's kept me pretty darn warm for the few dives that I've used it down to mid-40's. I don't hunt, but they only had camo suits :)
