I will be gone diving in mexico for a cave class and a week of vacation so i will be luggin' around quite a bit of gear but I also want to bring what ever I need to replair or replace everything in my kit. What kinds of thing do you travel with? does anyone bring stuff like aquaseal, patch kits, adhesives, or other chemicals associated with drysuit or bc repair?

My spares/tool kit consists of:

10'- 1/8" black bungee
3'- 1/4" bungee
3'- 1/4" latex tubing
2 each- small, medium and large double ended stainless snaps and small, medium, and large stainless bolt snaps and 2 medium screw gate quick links.
1- scuba tools IP gauge with 4 different adapters
1- DIN tank pressure checker with yoke adapter
1- OMS dump valve removal tool
1- DIY scubapro dump valve removal tool
1- tire filler
1- blow gun (not the kind for killin' critters)
1- lighter
1- 6" scissors
1- pill canister with coil of cave line approx 50' long
1- reef scuba 0-ring kit with spare port plugs, hp and lp port swivels, grease, and dental pick.
1- OMS bc bladder repair kit with aquaseal cotol 240
1- scubapro dump valve assemply
1- OMS dump valve assembly
1- corragated hose
1- hp hose
1- LP hose
1- Analox 02 analyzer
1- yoke adapter
1- mask strap (I dont need fin straps cause I have springs)
1- hose clamp for al40 stage bottles with a small chunk of tubular webbing
1- trustly leatherman charge tti, never leaves my person.

there is probably more that I am forgetting but what types of items do you travel with? I am sure I cant take the aquaseal products as they fit into the hazardous materials catagory on the TSA lists so i don't think its worth risking. Thanks

Sharedhr valve tool & spare valve(s)
QD Hose

I would take that load of stuff if i were going to Palmyra or Howland Island.

Mexico? Probably not 1/4th of that list, certainly not the tools. It's not like it's the far side of the moon.

The BOLD is what I would take...

1- 6" 1/4" nut driver for bit set
100 zip ties (50 4", and 50 8") UV Resistant Cable Ties, 20pcs 10" cut off what you don't want.
10'- 1/16" black bungee
10'- 1/8" black bungee
3'- 1/4" bungee
3'- 1/4" latex tubing (I would make it 6 feet)
2 each- small, medium and large double ended stainless snaps and small, medium, and large stainless bolt snaps and 2 medium screw gate quick links.
1- scuba tools IP gauge with 4 different adapters
1- DIN tank pressure checker with yoke adapter

1- LP hose
1- Analox 02 analyzer
1- yoke adapter
1- mask strap (I dont need fin straps cause I have springs) (Either can be replaced by bungee)
1- hose clamp for al40 stage bottles with a small chunk of tubular webbing
1- trustly leatherman charge tti, never leaves my person. Cybertool Swiss Army Knife and add the Leatherman Bit Kit- you've got a better device.

and...

1/4 roll of silver tape (duct tape)
Single edged razor blade
Sewing kit with carpet thread
Isopropyl Alcohol or prep pads

plus...

NuSkin
Triple Antibiotic ointment
a roll of paper towels

Like I said, if you are going cave diving in the Mexico most people go to, you will have access to a pretty well stocked parts and tools cabinet.
