What to wear under my Mares Isothermic???

I have the Mares Isothermic semi-dry suit. Does anybody think that layering with the suit is practical? I haven't tried and don't particuarly want to be in 40 degree water with a water pump on.;-0

I wear a 2 mil hoodless vest under my isotherm in cold water (< 60deg). It definitely helps. It doesn't do much good at 100ft in 38deg water though.

I've got a 1 mill microprene full suit that I was thinking of wearing but I don't know if water will leach through the seals....
