I too use the generic under armor from Walmart. I have went commando plenty of times and really can't feel any difference between commando and under armor. The material is super thin and the things fit great, not too loose or tight. One thing though when stretched you can see through some of this material, so unless you don't mind mooning everyone be careful how you bend over putting your wetsuit on aboard the boat. The see through quality is a small price to pay for the thin material though.

+1 for a rashguard - sometimes there are stingy things in the water.

For there, I just wear my speedo(that I will be wearing under my skins/2 mil shortie for diving) under a bathing suit & a teeshirt(maybe a longsleeve one @ that time of year)--all under a hat, to protect my bald spot, lol....For foot wear, a pair of flipflops(almost wrote thongs---but-) or even my dive booties, depending on where they wound up from the previous day of diving....

Change to my skins/shortie &/or 2 mm hooded vest on the boat just prior to dive......Most things kept in a mesh dive bag stored under the boat seat where my BC/reg is hooked up to a tank(shop that we use has that setup already when boarding boat......

Keep things as simple as possibly, just think about what you'll need & when you'll need them....In fact, here I am(pot belly & ALL) previewing somes pics during a surface interval in Fiji a couple months ago..Works every time..

I did my first two dives today and the running shorts worked perfectly! That said, it's so cool here right now, I may just start wearing my wetsuit to the dock.

Had two great dives today, though, and plenty more this week. :)
