What to expect diving the Channel Islands

If you get a chance, try to dive the Rookery off Santa Barbara island. It's a great dive for Sea Lions (I recently did that dive, and at one point we were surrounded by at least 40)! Also, get familiar with Angel Sharks and keep your eyes on the sand for them. Very cool when you get a chance to spot one! :) If you click the "Pictures!" link in my sig, you can see some photos I took on the Sea Lion dive, as well as some other photos from various dives around CA. I'm not very good yet with the camera, but it'll give you an idea of what you'll see.

Not to be the voice of negativity, but Spectre was never a pleasurable experience for me in contrast to Liberty, which was a fantastic boat. But that has been some years ago. Hope Spectre has changed.
 
Yea the Liberty was a good dive boat but the Spectre is a good dive boat also, I've dove off it many times & have always had a good time.
