Is there something wrong with that??? Works fine for me.........

Oh wait, here it is:

"A good place for a secondary second stage on the end of a conventional-length hose is to rig it conveniently on a necklace of thin rubber hose under the chin. Simply wind the long air-supply hose of the primary regulator around your neck."

I won't name any names or anything, but I think someone got things a little mixed up somewhere between the sensory organs and the brain.

I especially appreciate this gem:

"Simply wind the long air-supply hose of the primary regulator around your neck. In the event of the panicking "diver out-of-air" situation occurring, the donor diver simply lets that OOA diver have the primary regulator from his mouth, unwinding the hose by allowing himself to be rotated or simply pulling the coil over his head. The donor-diver then swaps to the alternative second stage that sits ready and waiting."

Picture this...here you are, swimming along, some panicked hoser comes and rips your reg out of your mouth, and your immediate response is to begin rotating madly like a crazed u/w ballerina so the long hose, which you've wrapped around your neck, doesn't tighten up and choke your butt as their bouyancy control goes to hell.

Long hose = $40

air fill = $6.00

Dying because you believed some spewage you read on the net and wrapped your hose around your neck so you could pirouette madly when your regulator gets grabbed = Priceless :D

I actually wrote a long letter to the author, cc'd it to all of the magazine's editors, then cc'd it to every training agency I could find an email address for.

I need something better to do..
