Please share to all divers who dive frequently in Anilao. If you catch divers with spear gun on a scuba tank,,, it is illegal! You can take a photo or video (if possible) underwater as a proof and while confronting the diver. You can confiscate the spear gun but NEVER SURRENDER IT TO ANYBODY. You can call BANTAY DAGAT Chariman JUN BAQUILLOS at 09164661034. Bantay Dagat act together with the Department of Tourism Officer NINI CASAPAO (09175352363) and they addressed the incident of us confiscating the spear guns of divers we caught spearfishing while diving.
