ok, so it's a crappy weather day today so I decide to do my work at home. I get a text from Jonix that he's meeting Pao at Diver's Point to go for lunch. He asks if I wanna join.
Sure! I've never been yet, so I wanna go check it out.
I arrive there, have a chat with Pao, Jonix, and Ellen (the manager). In the conversation I mention that I got my first Filipino pay cheque to be used to fund my own regulator. Pao and Jonix immediately help me and get Ellen to give me the deals on the regulators.
I didn't realize how affordable some of them are. Not only, they're all really good looking...At this point I blacked out and the next thing I know, I just made a deal to buy a Cressi Titanium Regulator with an IST psi gauge.
During lunch it comes back to me: I remember mixing and matching regulators/octos/gauges - with Pao and Jonix egging me on :no - and Ellen number crunching on the best possible deal.
Although it was a great deal, this turned out to be the most expensive lunch I've ever had. The funniest part about it - I wasn't even hungry.
Not only, I easily got persuaded to rent out the BP/W for this coming DOR II. The dark side is looming over...
I can't help but feel shanghai'd over this. And the feeling's great. So thank you, Paolov and Jonix. Even if I wasn't hungry, the crispy chicken teriyaki, yun chow fried rice, and chicken feet tasted extra special today.
