Thanks. All I have handy are non-metric and none of them was right. I'll get a metric set.

Alas, NONE of the Allen wrenches on the ScubaTool fit. You should the right size wrench and keep in your save-a-dive kit dedicated for that use.

In a pinch, I've used a regular door key to remove the insert on my Thermo pro valve. 
I was surprised it worked. I tend not to tighten up the insert too much, though.
