I’m a warm water recreational diver. This is my TUSA SPG with attachment I use to clip to left chest dring. Unclipping it makes it easier to put bcd on and clip adds enough length from bcd that i can see it without unclipping.

Get a 24" hose to hang it on, with a bolt snap to clip it to your harness.
My DGX gauge came in this week along with my diverite transplate bpw, the gauge is fantastic quality for the price.

+1 for any Italian brass & glass SPG. Size is up to personal preference- I personally prefer the 2" SPGs.

Yeah gotta love it, I've got a Perdix console, clip mine to the right dring and can read all the stuff on it too ha ha ha

No they don't if they don't have a swivel.

Are naked SPGs without a spool common in your area?

I haven’t seen a naked SPG that doesn’t use a spool.

Granted, when a naked SPG is under pressure there’s a lot of resistance to swiveling but it will still rotate if necessary.

For readability I prefer white numbers on black background. Tempered glass, naked. I suggest the smallest size that you can easily read – I used to have large ones (2 in) but now prefer smaller ones (1.75 in), although I only use them on deco bottles and AI on my bottom and travel gas.

The little thing between the gauge and the hose on you photo is the swivel, we do all agree I guess. When i buy a naked SPG here in France it never comes with a swivel.

They all (at least practically speaking) come trom Termo Industria in Italy, with different branding and mild styling according to reseller Submersible pressure gauges for scuba diving | Termo Industria

So long as it looks like one of these, you're good. Put on 24inch hose (with spool, obvs), boltsnap to left waistbelt D-ring, done.

<EDIT> Just to note that the "thin-line" aka "2K line" thinner versions tend to rattle. I had an especially rattley one for a short while before ditching it out of annoyance

to the OP, why not just use the old gauge that is in your console?
take away the console, the depth gauge, and compass if there is one, leaving just the SPG

or is your console some fully digital thing....
