What should be expected when purchasing a guided dive trip?

for me it's not so much the price that is the problem, although I do believe it is overpriced. The problem for me is that everything about this trip sounds lame. The absolutely only way I would even consider it is if there were no other options, and I was going with a newbie... Otherwise, doing a dive trip with snorkelers, on a tropical reef - tropical reefs bore me, combined with depth and time limits, would preclude me from selecting this trip. Sounds like a cattle boat operation to me. Are you a big padi operator? First thing I would do is search for a smaller operator ...
 
Absolutely. I like to dive and there is always something to see and appreciate. Easy, shallow, relaxing dives are the best in my book. Not a mighty underwater explorer am I.
