Ok,
I would still say 2x 400ft primaries, the safeties, and a bunch of 100ft spools. Say 8 total. Shorter spools, while slightly more compact are not very versatile. Maybe one 150ft spool or tiny reel. Jump reels are bulky and heavy. An extra 100ft spool is impercetible in your baggage.
