as of now I'm a recreational diver in training for tech..and was wondering what would be a good computer to buy that can grow with my training into technical diving

Here is one inexpensive option for you:
Oceanic Veo 3.0
VEO 3.0 Wrist Computers *Buy Oceanic at DIVESEEKERS.com 888-SCUBA-47

Some Key Features of a Tec Computer:
1. Wrist Style
2. At least 2 Gasses
3. Norm /Gauge Mode
4. Easy to Read/operate

in training for tech if this is the case, just get a TEC computer & a Bottom Timer and do the training in the gear that you will be using.

As far as Full Tec Computers, Top 2:

Shearwater:
Predator Dive Computers by Shearwater Researchs - Buy at DIVESEEKERS.com 888-SCUBA-47

Liquivision:
Liquivision X1 kit - Buy at DIVESEEKERS.com 888-SCUBA-47

ScubaPro Bottom Timer:

Do a little research and you will see just how many people like the Uwatec Aladin Tec 2G. They took the Tec term out of the name recently probably trying to appeal to non tech divers also. There are many tech diving instructors using it for deco dives. It will do gauge mode, has average depth, and a seconds timer. CLICKY

If it doesn't fit in a DSS mount it doesn't belong on your wrist! Bungee mounted with redundant straps, in a low profile mount is the best way to have a computer stay in place. https://www.deepseasupply.com/index.php?category=instruments

If you can't afford a Liquivision or Shearwater, I'd go for the Tec 2g. The display isn't as nice as the OLEDs, but it has a good gauge mode and fits into the DSS mount.

Just throwing this in...
