I currently have a AI Genesis, I like the computer allot. I would like to do some Nitrox dives, so I would only need this computer when using Nitrox. Is there a computer such as a wrist unit or one that I could use for redundancy? It doesn't have to be expensive.
Thanks,
Caymaniac

Atmos Nitrox or Suunto Vyper. Both are available in wrist mount and are nice rigs. Both at or below $300 if you are willing to buy on-line. Atmos is a bit more liberal. Depending on your diving habits you can make your determination accordingly. Nitrox has the ability to give you so much more BT, depending on MOD, so don't know how much the difference will really matter. Depends on how deep you plan on pushing your NDL or if you do deco dives at all.

And if you don't need some of the gadgets on the vyper there is the Geck (spelling?) which doesn't have the computer interfacing capability and a few other things.

i have chosen the suunto gekko.
no pc interface though

You probably know this, but I thought I would share with you, that you really don't need a nitrox computer if you don't mind using nitrox solely for the purpose of increasing your margin of safety while diving air profiles.
