Lake Mead Tony:
Barracuda2,
"Treibolschalter " in german translates to "float switch". Treibol=float /schalter=switch

The word "treibol" has 2 dots above the "o". Does that make a difference in translation? Dang, I wish I knew how to post photos. I tried yesterday and couldn't get it to work. I'm doing something wrong.

Its about 10PM........I'm sitting here at home reading all of these comments and thinking these are awesome guys!!! Wow Some enterprising soul should capture all these comments into a book or log or something. We should have "ODDest thing I found in the ocean" contest or something. I'm sure we could get one of our suppliers to sponser it.

Whats next a Mermaid? I can't wait to read the next eight pages. Keep it coming.

Happy Diving

Weirdest thing was a Chicken Egg sitting on top of a reef at 90' in the Bahamas.

Underwater cleanups always yield interesting results, last time we pulled up a park bench.

>Weirdest thing was a Chicken Egg sitting on top of a reef at 90' in the Bahamas<

Hmm...I've considered taking a chicken egg on a dive to see if it would crush under pressure. Maybe you've tried to do the "can't crush a chicken egg in your fist thing". I wonder if someone else was doing the same experiment.

Dlwalke.............ok so now the challenge is on! You've got to report back and let us know.

Don't "chicken" out on us.

Happy Diving

Diving off of Xcalak with Bob from Carolines Inn I spotted and retrieved his cap that he'd lost diving the year before. Who wears a cap when you are diving? Too weird...

Condom with a lead shot inside...

Perfectly (or almost) preserved WWII German newspaper with Hitler on the front page inside a sunken German Destroyer. I am telling you, the paper was almost perfect (Obviously I did not even attempt to get to the second page though)
