I have not been able to discover what the Divevolk membrane material might be. I am asking because I need to clean up some of the greasy residue and am concerned about some of the finishes where the case was sitting. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Thanks for your thoughts! Similar to my approach. I was hopeful that someone knew the base substance so I could be certain. It is certainly persistent and it is aggressive. Soaks through plastic bags and other seemingly non-porous containment.

Tried. On this topic they have been unresponsive.
mmm

I was hopeful

Well also plastic bags are porous just not immediately and not knowing your finishes is a hindrance

Rubbing alcohol is first solvent to try. WD-40 on paper towel takes most sticker gum type residue off. Citrus based Goo gone is next attempt. If insufficient, try acetone (nail polish remover). 'Usually test in order listed.
