I keep them hanging on my bag unless i store them long term and in that case i put them in the hanging bag i bought them in

I think only the Atomic "smoke on the water" comes with springs. I just bought a set of springs for my clear/blue atomic splits.

Manta Ray makes a great universal rubber fin strap, which you can order in pairs from a lot of places. I keep one rolled up and zip tied to my BC, other in my save-a-dive box.

I'm using Innovative springs on Apollo Pros. They're 1/3 the cost of the Apollo springs, and don't require cutting off the strap nub on the fin (which means I can use the older rubber straps as backups). Cost me $21, and work exactly as expected - great.

I store them with the inserts in, flat on the floor...

Hmm...if they aren't on my feet, they are in my gear bag or drying off "blades up" in my garage....

I concur with those that say get spring straps...best investment I ever made! No muss, no fuss! (and my original straps are in my save a dive)

I have the AA split fins

If you have Atomic fins then then you should get either the Atomic rubber fin straps or get the Atomic spring straps (much more expensive than the rubber straps but worth it).

If you get the spring straps keep the straps that came with the fins as spares.

I bought the springs straps for my wife and daughter for Christmas. I believe they ran between $60 to $70 a pair. I already had them for my Atomic fins.
