my 2 personal favorites are the Eagle and the Thunderbolt...the tug off Lauderdale could be either the Donald or Peter McAllister??????

Walter:The United Caribbean ain't the dive you remember and it ain't a tug, either. I still love it, but the hurricanes in 2004 tore it up and those of 2005 broke it in half. The stern section is alone and tossed on its side. The cargo hold (something missing from tugs) is pretty much flat on the bottom. The bow is still intact.
The Sea Emperor is a fun dive, but it's not much of a "wreck" dive.
havnmonkey:"I also enjoyed the Fin Barge off Bradenton, about 80 - 85 feet deep, it's huge and fun."
Walter do you mean the sugar barge right off the beach? Or is this another one? I have friends in Bradenton and might make a few more trips out there.
waterbearer:It's a wreck alright... wrecked in half that is. It's still a cool dive and probably good for OW certs. I did it last week and you can swim through one part of the stern easily.
DPV boy:Hear, hear for the Benwood! I love it and the life around it.
Walter:Yes, and I still enjoy it, but it's not the same wreck as before the hurricanes tore it apart.
Walter:Me too, but it doesn't make my list of top wrecks either.
