What is "normal" maintainance and seat life for mr22/abyss?

it really depends on what material they are using for the diaphragm. The old Dacor regs included a diaphragm every year because they were using a material that didn't have a long life span
I am not talking about a hundred years ago I am talking about current generation stuff.

No parts that come in service kits are free.
I am talking about the parts for life agreement so yes they are unless you really want to lose my attention and begin talking about the technicalities of the cost of the regulator that has the parts kits for life in mind.

If Mares was to include a new diaphragm every year, the price of the kit would go up.
That brings me to my original point that Mares does not include themin their kit yet all others do and they give 'em out every year.
