I'm trying to find out the max size Secure Digital (SD) Card the Sea & Sea DX-3000G RICOH Caplio G3 will take.

I did various searches here on Scubaboard and couldn't find anything.

The manual only shows examples up to 64K and today's technology make SD cards up to 1 gig.

I checked the manual and FAQ on the Ricoh web site but no additional info was available.

Thanks.

I use a 512 in mine. I'm sure 1gig will work too.

You should be able to use any capacity card that will fit.

Further info from Ricoh indicates unofficially may go up to 1gig for the G3:

"As you can see on the page, the Caplio G3 model can use a memory card upto
512 KB, which is the official information.
We also have the information that the G3 worked with an 1 GB card with some
our test. However, please note that this is just a reference data and we do
not guarantee to work with every environment and with every manufacturer's
card.

Should you need further assistance from Ricoh, please visit the digital
camera contact page.
The contacts that you have found was not for digital camera products.
