Hmmmm, hard to see with the image this small but any idea what it is? One of my favorite pics from recent trip.

Looks like a stove pipe sponge.
 
It's good with butter and garlic, some lemon. Don't overcook it.
 
It is a soft coral, a gorgonian, most likely a sea rod. Looks like it might be the stand of them on Bari reef, just south of Buddy Dive.
