drysuit - cold to moderate waters
3mm full suit - moderate to warm waters

.29 on really relaxing dives - .58 if pretty stressed or swimming against a strong current.

My average SAC rate runs around .30 - .38. I typically plan on it being at .60 to be conservative.

Well, lesseee here....
Looking at my log, I see recent rates ranging from 0.33 CFM up to 1.61 CFM.
I'm sure I could easily go higher under stress or a workload; I doubt I could get much lower, even asleep :)
For planning purposes I use 0.55 for the bottom and 0.45 for deco.

I wouldn't even be brave enough to try to calculate the SAC on my first dozen dives, even if I had the data! There's a very definite learning curve in terms of relaxation and efficiency underwater, and it's real steep at the beginning.

First time I did mine was back around dive #5 and it was 1.1 -- that was in 50F water, newbie in a drysuit, viz totally blown out to less than a foot by the plankton blooms and the OW students. And that was my average SAC over the entire dive.
