We've heard so many good things about the APEKS TX100 regulator, however, the retailer only has in stock the APEKS CTX100. We can't find any information about the CTX100. Is there a difference between the two regs? We are primarily warm water divers, will the CTX100 perform as well as the TX100 in warm water? Thanks

The CTX100 is the same as the ATX100 - which is a later model than the TX100. The CTX designated models are imported from Europe, where they were destined for release, but Apeks decided to do a namechange after the marketing department already had started advertising them as CTX.

Either the TX100 or CTX100 would be outstanding in warm water! Any of the Apeks regs would, even the far cheaper T20 and AT20 regulators.

The only concern with the CTX is that it will be obvious to a LDS when you take it in for service that you bought it online. Not sure what their reaction would be - say you lived in NY for a while and bought it from a LDS there (LeisurePro :))
