What have you lost?

UL C8 LED light. It fell about 60' to the bottom on Brownstone Quarry. My buddy and I went down immediately to find it...but, despite the fact that it was on, we couldn't find it. Sunk in the muck. As my buddy put it, "that was the first time I dived in water with less than zero visibility!" (Hope I don't somehow manage to lose my new GreenForce HID!)

I lost my C lite 8(onlyl about $40) in Pelham, AL (ABWA) then while on a dive boat in WPB, FL there was a guy that asked me when I had been to Pelham I told him last month, he gave me my light back when we got ashore.
It pays to put your name on everything.

I got you all beat.... I lost... best I can figure, a little over 3.2 million. Met my wife diving.. proposed and got married in Grand Cayman. Most expensive dive trip anyone has ever had.... She doesn't read this forum - does she? :blinking:

Lost: Before the days of zippered BCD pockets...every bottle of defog I ever took with me before I wised up and started leaving them on shore.

Found: While exploring the moonscape at the bottom of a cove in Possum Kingdom, I was showing my buddy the joy of beer bottle rockets. I came across what looked like the top of a big mason jar, with about an inch of silt on it. I grabbed it from the silt, shook it off, and it was a big Dacor 6volt light, probably dating from the early 80's. I turned it on and it still worked! I had 2 lights for the rest of that dive and I still have that light to this day.
