Found a Singer! Circa 1915. (see photo)

Today, this political token was freed from the river's icy grasp. (see photos)

Hugh E. Stringer served as sheriff of St. Clair County from 1929-1932. The token is probably from late 1930. 1929 would surely have been an exciting time to have been on either side of the law, since the St. Clair River was a hotbed of rum-running activities during that year.

He's got my vote!
