When you guys talk about switching regs underwater, are you talking about the first stage?

Does this imply that your backgas and your stage\deco bottles are all using the same type of valve (din or yoke)?

Or are you talking about removing the hose from the first stage and attaching that to the deco bottle?

The answers to your questions are yes, yes and DIN. In the situation we were talking about you would remove the entire first stage, not just the hose.

Exactly right Diver0001. The entire first stage. Preferably all your regs are the same if not at least DIN and interchangeable. Yoke/DIN mixes would result in certain issues as you could not go to the primary solution and that could result in certain detremental issues
