what gloves for extreme cold water and photo?

Hello,

are there any gloves that are thick enougth to protect against very cold water and at the same time be flexible enougth ir order to be able to operate the small buttons and knobs on the camera underwater case?

I find it very hard sometimes impossible to set buttons or knobs using thick gloves

Is there a brand that makes flexible thick gloves?

I use 4th Element gloves but I don't know what very cold water means? 2 degrees, 10 degrees?

I am talking about 5 to 8 degrees Celsius

Try the 4th Dimension gloves, they are quite warm. If it were me though, I would use drygloves like SCITEK and use a thin liner on my shooting hand.

I agree with bvanant....... I use the Sitech locking dry glove system and wear no liner's and stay warm as toast . But for extreme cold thin liner's would be more than ok...

By the way if you are looking for a set of sitech dry glove I happen to have a second set new never been wet, for sale for 120.00 retail is 190.00 .

XS Scuba dry 5 gloves. THey are neoprene dry gloves that I find much more tactile friendly than standard smurf gloves.

I wear Si-Tech locking rings plus Vinylove shells over ~magic gloves. (They're not magic gloves; they're a similar thing but woolen and warm.) Water here pushes freezing in the winter, up to 4-7 C in the summer. I am really, really picky about gloves for anything I do; I have...uh...14 pairs of gloves, all with dedicated uses. (Only one pair is for diving.)

Anyway, as Flanders would say, it feels like I'm wearin' nothing at all, nothin' at all, nothin' at all, nothin' at all...
