Not neccesarily, I have had my neck seal roll & leak a few times in cold water & have still done 30+ min. dives. Cold? Yes! Certainly. For sure, but it does not always mean it will be aborted then.

Why's that? Are you saying neoprene pinholes are intermittent? The minuscule added thermal resistance makes the difference? I have had water up to my crotch in a Unitsuit, DUI CF200, Viking, and a deep-sea/heavy gear suit. They were all pretty darn cold.
