Thanks for the nod. :happywave:

I don't spend a lot of time in chatrooms and I'm not an internet nitpicker or grammar nazi but for the record: the works of Vulcania Submarine precede steampunk.

(The long version of that pic got used for a postage stamp by the island nation of St. Kitts decades ago, BTW.)

Factually, what diving a Leagues rig says is that you are a member of the most elite group of divers on the planet; only five still alive; the others have passed on due to natural causes but not before they got to try one of the most uniquely enjoyable diving experiences you can have with a SCUBA tank on.

Cheers! :)
Geez, man, I just gave this to www.diveheart.org as a fundraising item…

It’s a 1950’s era Browns Rebreather in a wooden crate.

I don't really choose gear for image. Few people see me diving anyway.

That said, you could see a reflection of my personality in my diving and equipment choices. Being somewhat experimental, DIY, and adventurous leading to sidemount. An independent or autonomous personality leading to solo diving. Used but reasonable quality gear, because of efficiency.

Mine mainly says I'm colour blind!
Apparently, also blind to the thread-date as well. (Just teasing)

What it says about me is that my gear far exceeds my skillset. But I find deals so I can afford something I can hopefully grow into over time and own for 10+ years vice buying new stuff every few years.
