I've just got a big ol' dive bag. I put everything in there (I use a steel bp/w, with 2kg lead attached, so the bag gets pretty heavy). I put my regs, torches, and other little stuff in a big plastic container, so it doesn't get squashed.

Depends on the boat size and the number of folks on the charter.

One of the more ingenious setups I was was one of those inexpensive folding two wheel trolley carts (not the carry on bag type, but rather a light wieght one for moving boxes) with an "L" shaped board as a base and a rubbermaid storgage container.

There was enough of the "L" base sticking outward on each sode to hold 2 tanks bungeed in place, (one on each side) and the rubbermaid container held everyting else. For roomy boats I'm thinking of making one of those. For more cramped quarters I have an AKONA mesh dive bag with backpack straps.

No matter if it's a single dive or a weekend away diving... All my gear goes in to a Aqua Lung Roller Bag... I've yet to have any problems with the wheels or the material. I am unable to drive at the moment so I spend a lot of time walking with my gear bag...

Prior to buying this bag I did use a Armour Bag and loved it! But I decided to take a chance on this bag just because of the price. Aqua Lung bag cost $100 and my Armour cost over $400!!

Even when I start driving again I doubt I will switch back to a rubbermaid container

Cheers Red

I use the rubbermaid container and a mesh bag from Scuba Toys. I do need to buy a regulator bag and weight bag though. I feel bad making my wife carry all of it around! J/K!

When I am abroad, or diving out of a boat in the UK (be it hard or RIB), I use a Stahlsac mesh bag. It is plenty big enough to get BCD, wetsuit or drysuit (although I'll have the latter on if it is a RIB dive), regs, fins, mask, torch, weight pockets, etc in, but when it is empty, it tucks under my seat out of the way. It also has an integrated drypocket right down the back, so handy for stashing my clothes and towel in while I dive. it also folds virtually down to nothing when I pack it into my travel bag.

If I am shore diving in the UK, I use a big plastic box with a lid that clips together on closing. It is identical to the Oceanic Gear Gulper, but only cost £5 from a local stationary place. Plenty big enough to get everything in, and any water leaking out at the end of a day's diving ends up in the bottom of the box, not your car carpet! (I've got a pick-up, so it doesn't matter, but friends with cars appreciate it!)

I use the Akona mesh duffel bag, everything fits in there fine. No problems so far.

Men like this one work great. If you make them a killer lunch, they even set your gear up and rinse it.

(love you honey)

I use a mess dive bag and a soft reg. bag.

When I am shore diving I have a $10-30gal rubbermaid container to keep my gear in, keep water from draining in my car, to serve as my rinse bucket when I get home and to store my gear in when it is all dry.

When I am boat diving I have a mesh gear bag to carry it all in.
