You mean I'm supposed to do something other than diving?

Well, if I must, I do spend some time sailing and windsurfing.

Bouldering is good fun!

I guess all I'll get to do this winter is hit the rock gym...

I wish I had someone better than I am to train with!!!! Sucks to be the best  Also sucks not to know any climbers in the area.

Well... Probably not now but gimme a couple of months and I can redpoint some pretty high numbers! I think climbing is probably the most challenging activities I've done in terms of physical and mental preparation... Strength, flexibility, coordination. Onsight work is kind of like a time constrained puzzle...

Hmmm... I guess plastic will have to do for now!

when not diving there is scubaboard and hockey:wink:

and it seems like there is never enough time to get it all done.
I've been reworking my backyard for a few months now. Took everything out, down to the dirt and have be rebuilding since. A new pond with waterfall and koi, new planters and irrigation and right now I'm finishing up the flagstone on the patio and around the walkways.

Beside that, just being a father and a husband

I hate this country during hockey season. I can get one game a month on tv and absolutely no chance of actually playing.

Climbing is great and a real good mind bender! It's amazing what happens when you get a climb totally wired on top-rope or seconding then get full on sewing machine leg and anxiety skyrockets the second you are on the sharp end 15 feet above your last pro. Wow, definitely a mental workout.

For full on fear management however, nothing beats whitewater kayaking! I have never been more terrified than when I go kayaking. There is something totally wrong from a self preservation standpoint to voluntarily strap yourself into a small plastic Rubbermaid container which has the inherent stability of an egg on end and throw yourself down a raging river! What a rush! I highly recommend it!
