I've been using a Olympus D-150 it's inexpensive but used with the PT-013 it seems work very well. Housing is more expensive that camera. But when it comes to diving alot of things are that way. Camera came from Costco and housing came from the folks at UWdigiital. I might add they were very friendly to work with.
Using the energizer 1700mA batteries and charger seem to get about 80 pictures per dive on a set of batteries with min. use of the display.

Sony PC 100 with Ike housing. Love it! Haven't gotten a strobe yet... anyone have any suggestions? I did a night dive with a guy using the same system and the strobe that he used was WAY to much... the critters saw him coming from a mile away and booked quick!

Never even heard of it Floirda_boy which means you probably need a custom job - you'll probably decide to buy one that already has the housing when you see the price.....

I have a Sony Dsc51, does anyone make an U/W housing for this model?

Check here at DigiDeep. Find your camera brand from the list on the right. Then search for your specific camera. I didn't find one for yours.

Sony DCS-707.

A beauty, but still waiting for the $$$ to buy a housing and strobe. Just to much other gear this year already ... in the meanwhile still using my S&S Motormarone UW :( Big schlepp everytime when going diving :lifter:

The hassle of the size of my old MMII system is what sent me to the light side of digital!

James,

Just a thought, but have you considered dive insurance for your camera? I just renewed my policy with D.E.P.P. The total was about $54 for a year and it covers all my equipment for theft AND my Oly 3040-Z for flooding.

Unfortunately, it does NOT cover my laptop computer which I would like to bring with me. (that's a new thread I'm about to start.)

I use a Sony F505v with 10 Bar housing - Superb!

cheers

Just bought myself my first digital camera Sony DSC-P9 and Marine Pack Housing. I liked it because it is small enough to fit in my BC pocket.

Looking forward to taking it on it's first trip underwater next weekend.
