While I did learn some new things on here, I also learned a lot more about stuff that was taught during instruction. I think that is every bit as valuable as learning completely new things. For example, I learned HOW to dive in class. I learned how to dive better through people I met here.

Hell, right now I'm swapping emails about buoyancy control with a flooded suit, etc. Still learning.
 
I learned a good rule of thumb is to not dive any deeper than the cf your tank contains.

Also learned what a POV warrior is and that I don't like them.
