Hello,

I have a very small tear in my wet suit. What can I use to to repair the liquid seam?

Thanks in advance for any suggestion.

Aquaseal by mcnetts "neoprenes best friend" dont remeber where i heard that

oh yea, my parents used to make their own wetsuits!

newspaper patterns.....that aquaseal stuff smells great when you are a little kid, so careful. Then they would reinforce the seam with stitching with dental floss on a big needle. ..crazy parents.

Dental floss! There's an idea! I have a weight pouch with a hole in it sitting on my counter for the last few days. Was going to sew it up with my waxed linen for whipping lines but I can't find the stuff right now! Dental floss! That would work!

Sorry for the hijack!:)

Can you get it in black?

Silly me, I have been using black nylon upholstery thread.

To the OP, If it's a seam you want to close then wetsuit cement is your best bet. Any dive shop can sell you a small can.
