I use a mk25 s600 on my right post and I use a mk16/ balanced adjustable on my left post. The BA is one of the best regs I have ever used. Very solid and reliable....20 years old though.

Royal Aqua Master, don't need no stink'n BC. N

BC: DSS Single Rig
- Pros: Many, check dedicated threads in BC forum
- Cons: None really, thought the Pro-Fit harness didn't suit my style, changed it to Hog in less than an hour, end of story
Reg: Apeks XTX-200, XTX-50
- Pros: Everything! (Almost, one minor con below)
- Cons: I bought DIN for use in Europe but don't own tanks so when renting in the US I have to use a DIN-Yoke converter which pushes the 1st stage into the back of my head. Unlikely that many would use the same setup, so not truly an issue.

Halcyon Eclipse MC BP/W, aluminium back plate (I travel with it).
Scubapro X650 Mk25 and G250 Mk20

The Eclipse is great. Does not get in the way and makes you feel free u/w and gives perfect stability. Best thing I bought to date. You don't only get a BC, you might also get into DIR and learn something new (not trying to start a debate here, it just was like this for me).

Always liked how the scubapro regs breathe. Still have a Mares Abyss Titanium, and altough it is a nice breathing (albeit very heavy weighing) reg, I just prefer the Scubapro feel. Many top regs deliver similar amounts of air in terms of numbers and breathing values, but the breathing feel is still very different. My G250 is still in great shape, but starting to look "aged". I suppose this is all the rage these days. Maybe in a few years you can buy regs with either "new" or "aged" look. Ok, going off on a tangent here. ;)

me - scuba pro knighthawk , mares proton ice with proton octo
g-friend - aqua lung diva lx, same regs and octo

all weight integrated, fairly basic no frills, no probs yet, knighthawk lacks pockets but I dont want to carry that much stuff around anyway :D

Halcyon Eclipse, SS backplate, Aqualung Legend. As soon as I'm done with PADI courses, I'll be switching to the long hose and bungied secondary.

Seaquest Pro XLT BC
Pros: Comfortable
Cons: Heavy

Reg: Aqualung Titan LX
Pros: Easy breathing
Cons: none

Looks like I will be getting the Seaquest passport for traveling

Reg- Scuba Pro MK25/S600 with OMS SPG

BCD- Beuchat Master Lift Pro

Both have been great so far but I do plan on switching over to a bp/wing setup
