i asked people why they took up scuba. their answers are so varied.

what are your reasons?

for me i took up scuba then as i had nothing else to do and my mountian trekking days were already limited due to "faulty leg joints" hehehehe mishaps from soccer early on would only come out later....

SO WHy did you take up sCUBA?

.

Kinda like Laurens, I always wanted to, and could finally afford it.

So I get to fly.

Well many reasons
1. Cell phones currently do not work underwater. (I know they have an off button but, it's my reason)
2. Have wanted to for many years and finally had the oportunity.
3. Have spent greater than a year underwater anyway kind of feel like I belong there.
4. Credit card balance was too low.
5. Didn't think jumping from a perfectly good airplane sounded like a good idea.
6. Learning to Fly an airplane is out of my budget.

'cause the chicks dig it!

Just kidding. I wanted to become a diver ever since I received the 12" GI Joe "Shark Surprise" gift set for Christmas when I was three.

I wanted to be a marine biologist. Didn't make it.
